The cold air
Seeped right through my skin,
and iced up my whole heart.
Your dishonesty broke me down
and that was the hardest part.

Empty promises,
where all that I had recieved from you.
What saddens me
is that we were so far from the truth.

I believe in us.
I believed each word you said.
I knew that one day this hurt
would end.

Was I wrong?
Was it true?
I've been proven wrong
by the paths I choose.

Now it hurts.
There is nothing but pain.
I knew that things
would remain the same.

My eyes are broken.
